Artwork
Send all artwork to art@americangreenwood.com. Include your purchase order number and company name on the subject line. We prefer 600 DPI files or vector artwork saved as an EPS, Tiff, AI or PDF file. Please convert all fonts to outline.
Proofs
Email proof (PDF): Free
First email proof is free. Additional emailed proofs billed at $10.00 (P) each. (Important: Email proofs are for color and copy placement only, and not intended as an actual color match). Email address must be on purchase order.
Black & white paper proof (fax): Free
Pre-production proof: $50.00 (V)
Metal litho proof: Call Customer Service for quote.
Printing prices: For offset printing, the first color set up is included in the piece price unless otherwise noted. Each additional color add $32.00 (R) set up and an additional color running charge per piece. For hot stamped products, die charges always apply unless specified as included in the base price. PLATE CHARGES ALWAYS APPLY TO METAL LITHO ORDERS. See individual pages for pad printing and screen printing set ups.
Art Changes: We allow for an adequate amount of art time for most orders. However, some artwork may require additional art time, which will be billed at $100.00 (P) per hour. Minimum charge of $50.00 (P). Factory will advise.
Layout/Imprint Sizing: We reserve the right to layout copy and artwork to the best advantage considering size, type style and printing space available, unless finished art is provided to size.
Reorders: Exact reorders for offset printing, first color set up is included in price unless otherwise noted. Each additional color add $16.00 (R) set up per color and an
additional running charge. See individual pages for pad printing and screen printing reorder set ups. Factory keeps film for 2 years.
Consecutive numbering: Set up charge $80.00 (P). Series changes, per change, are $10.00 (P). Random duplicates up to 25 pieces are $2.00 (P) each, and over 25 pieces are $1.00 (P) each. Numbering is available in a variety of sizes. We reserve the right to choose size based on overall layout and space available unless otherwise advised.
Union Label: Available on some products. See individual product pages or call Customer Service.
Litigation: Litigation arising from alleged infringement of patents, trademarks and copyrights is the sole responsibility of the customer.
Plate/Die Charges: See individual product pages.
Four Color Process Charges are as follows (unless otherwise noted): Base price plus 3 extra colors, three process plates at $32.00 (R) each.
Hot Stamping Colors: Hot stamping foils and material do not match PMS®numbers. Contact Customer Service for samples of colors.
PRODUCTION POLICIES
Orders: All orders must be sent via mail, fax or email.
Acknowledgements: All orders are acknowledged by fax or email. Contact Customer Service if you do not receive an acknowledgment within 48-72 hours. It is your responsibility to contact Customer Service immediately if there are any discrepancies
Terms: Unless credit has been established, payment is required at the time the order is received. Production will not begin until credit department has received payment in full. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. NSF checks will receive a handling charge of $100.00 (P). The terms for accounts who have received
credit are Net 30 days from the date of invoice.
Collections: Accounts requiring collections will be liable for all collection costs, including all fees, costs and expenses incurred.

Consecutive Numbering:

Absolute Minimum Quantity: 1/2 of minimum quantity listed plus $50.00 (P), unless otherwise noted.
Minimum Billing: Minimum invoice $50.00 (P)
Exact Quantity: If exact quantity is required please specify on order. There is no additional charge. +/- 5% is normal and will be billed.
Cancellation Charges: Cancelled orders will be billed $25.00 (Z) plus any art and other charges incurred up to time of cancellation.
Distributor Self Promotion: End quantity pricing plus applicable set ups on all items except Americorn Popcorn, woven products, bags and totes and Logo L’eau water, which receive next quantity pricing. Distributor logo/name must appear in imprint.
Blank Goods: As an accommodation, blank goods are available at End Quantity Pricing with some exceptions. All products that require assembly will receive Next Quantity Pricing. Catalog quantities apply. Minimum order $100.00 (Z).
Overruns and Underuns: 5% is normal and will be billed. Popcorn 10% is normal and will be billed.
Specifications: Due to the nature of imported goods, specifications are subject to change without notice. If substitutions are made, they will be substantially equivalent in function and appearance.
SAMPLES
Reasonable quantities of random samples will be provided at no charge unless otherwise noted. Samples less than 13 oz. will be shipped via US Mail at our expense. Samples 13 oz. or higher will be shipped via Priority Mail and will be charged. We can send samples by UPS only. UPS charges will be billed or charged to customers UPS account (please supply).

Drop Shipments: Drop shipments are available at $10.00 (V) each.
Method of Shipment: Our method of shipment is UPS or common carrier, if not otherwise specified. Every effort is made to ship on the date and by the means requested. However, we reserve the right to ship by whatever means available to deliver the goods by the date shown on the purchase order. First consideration is given to speed and reliability, and not to transportation costs.
FedEx ground shipments incur a $15.00 (Z) additional charge per shipment.
Delivery Liability: Delivery liability with factory ends when merchandise is delivered to a freight carrier. If, for whatever reason, the carrier fails to make a timely delivery, the distributor still has a liability to the factory.
F.O.B. Point: Factory, Shipping Dock.
Returns:
Imprinted products: Returns must be authorized or will not be accepted. All claims must be placed within 10 days of delivery and any disputed product must be available for inspection.
Unimprinted products: Returns must be authorized by Customer Service and request made within 10 days of receipt. Returns made via prepaid freight and subject to a $50.00 (P) or 25% restocking fee (whichever is greater)
Special Handling (e.g. marking cartons, adding inserts, etc.): Call Customer Service for special quotation.
Export Shipments: $25.00 (Z) processing and document fee per order.
US Post Office Shipments: Add $20.00 (Z) plus postage for delivery service to local post office.
Incorrect Shipping Address: UPS, Fed-Ex and other shippers bill us for address changes due to incorrect addresses given on the customer’s P.O. even though the packages are delivered to the given address. This also applies to incorrect information given on orders shipped distributor 3rd party freight. All fees charged to us will be invoiced separately once we are notified. Invoicing may take up to 45 days due to freight company delays.
Handling: $4.00 (Z) per carton on all orders.
Pallet Charge: Truck Shipments will be billed at $10.00 (Z) per pallet to cover the cost of pallet and shrink wrapping.
Shipping Weights: Product weights listed in catalog and on website are approximate. Final shipping weight may vary due to packaging.
Product Safety
Product Safety: All of our products meet current Federal safety standards. Call Customer Service for testing or compliance questions. Products that may be used by children under 12 comply with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. Tracking information may be obtained by logging on to ps.ppa.org. Enter the codes printed on product in question to determine date and factory of manufacture.
California Proposition 65: All imprint inks used by American Greenwood are Proposition 65 compliant. The State of California now requires warning labels on all consumer products shipped into California. A charge of $.03 (Z) per piece will automatically be applied to any product shipped to California. It is the customers’ responsibility to notify American Greenwood if any or all of an order may be distributed or used in California in any fashion or means. The warning label reads as follows:
